About

Multimedia Storyteller with specialty in long-form documentary films and social short videos.

In the past decade, I have worked at the intersection of media and social justice, creating impactful long-form documentaries and short videos. My work focuses on some of the biggest challenges in the United States including immigrant identities, climate change, and gun violence. Driven by a deep commitment to my community, I tell powerful visual stories that expose unfair systems and help fight for a more just world.

I have co-produced and narrated a half-hour documentary film “Reviving Nepal Bhasa”  focusing on endangered culture and language of the community of Newars, indigenous to central Nepal. The film was an official selection at the Hoboken International Film Festival 2015 and was nominated for the best docu short at Queens World Film Festival in 2016.

I have a passion for live performance and have produced a few Live Radio Shows. Most recently “Let Me Tell You Where I am Really From” Let Me Tell You Where I am Really From” in Boulder, Colorado as a response to the question that frequently shows up for BIPOC communities in dominantly white neighborhoods “Where are you really from?”
